Show Me the Body Chester Concert reviews
Always a great show!
Show Me the Body put on a LOUD and very entertaining set, as usual. They opened the Bridgestone show this time with my favorite, Rocket, from Hysteria. I had a great seat with a great view and enjoyed a great show with two war horses of Rock. Great show from Show Me the Body! You've heard all the songs, obviously, and for me, hearing them again never gets old. They could have played about a half-hour longer imo, but otherwise, a great set from those guys and Cain/Schon/Smith/Valory, all long-time or original members, know how to work a crowd after all these years. First time seeing Journey and first with the new guy, Arnel Pineda. Sadly, no Steve Perry, but he's high energy and a good singer. There's just no substitute imo. The evening was marred only by the downtown traffic situation. It was a Saturday night, so you had the usual touristy nonsense just a few blocks from the parking garage, PLUS, Taylor Swift played Nissan Stadium that evening and both shows closed about the same time, so downtown was a virtual ZOO of traffic and people. I got some great pix with a new point-and-shoot camera. It took me nearly TWO HOURS to get out of the Pinnacle Garage parking lot, so that def. sucked. Otherwise, looking forward to Show Me the Body's next tour; I'll be there!
